Real Madrid could be losing two of their finest defenders this summer. The club captain Sergio Ramos will leave this summer as a free agent if Real Madrid don’t offer him a suitable contract.
Ramos though wants to stay at Real Madrid and retire there but, his two year demands plus $13 an annum have been rebuffed by the club. Madrid are willing to offer him just a year contract plus $11m an annum.
Disappointed with the club’s offer, Ramos has rejected the offer and looks likely to leave the club. He will now be accompanied by Raphael Varane who has no intention of extending his contract that ends in 2022. Real Madrid don’t want to see him leave for free this summer and will sell off this summer this summer.
According to Marca, Kylian Mbappe wants to be giving time to think about his future before signing a contract extension with PSG. The attacker is heavily linked to Real Madrid and Liverpool who hoping to sign him this summer.
Mbappe decision to ditch any talks of contract extension will come as good news to Real Madrid and Liveprool who both battling out to sign the super talented player.
The mercurial forward has scored 104 goals in 146 games in Paris and was part of the team that reached the Champions league final last season.
This season alone, he has scored 14 goals with 8 assists in just 22 appearances in all competitions.
Martin Odegaard will be joining Arsenal on a season loan deal this season. Real Madrid sanctioned his move to Arsenal ahead of other competitors because they felt he will develop better under Mikel Arteta’s tutelage.
Odegaard will join on a six months contract which can be extended to another year depending on his performance.
