Liverpool News: Lampard Sacked, Mbappe Praises ‘Liverpool’ And Klopp Reveals FSG Position On Signing A Defender

Chelsea have relieved Frank Lampard of his managerial duties after a torrid run of abysmal results. The club decided it was time to pull the plug and thanked him for everything he has done for them as a player and manager.

Sokratis a very experienced Premier League defender who can provide the cover Liverpool desperately needs. But, the former Borrusia Dortmund defender has set his sights on returning home to play for Olympiacos and not Liverpool.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has now revealed that the club will not be investing on signing a top defender this January in-spite of the multiple injuries and the huge risk of going trophy-less this season.

Instead, Liverpool will sign free agents or loan players. FSG will be release funds for signing until the summer therefore, Jurgen Klopp must find ways to win games and stay in contention of winning trophies while his injured defenders recovers.
