Real Mdrid are reportedly plotting an audacious bid to sign Borrusia Dortmund star Erling Haaland. The La Liga champions want the prolific goal scorer to become Karim Benzema’s long term replacement.
Erling is quickly developing into a world class striker and Real Madrid are hoping he reaches that level at the Santiago Bernebue just like Benzema did.
A bid beloved to be $86m will be tabled to Dortmund this summer to sign Haaland and if that is rejected, Real Madrid is willing to pay $100m for the attacker.
Real Madrid are also interested in signing Kylian Mbappe and they will try to get him to the club this summer.
According to Marca, Real Madrid haven’t reached a contract agreement with Sergio Ramos and Lucas Vasquez. Both players will leave the club this summer if the club refuse to offer them what they feel thier deserve.
Lucas Vasquez departure won’t really affect Real Madrid but Ramos will certainly will. The Spaniard is arguably the best defender in the world and his doggedness coupled with his huge mentality and phemeonal leadership skills has helped Real Madrid remain competitive despite losing Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus two seasons ago.
Replacing Sergio Ramos will be very difficult to replace knowing they’re few defender in the world that organize a backline; keep superb attackers at bay while going forward to score late headers, accurate free kicks and penalty kicks.
Arsenal have completed the signing of Real Madrid star Martin Odegaard. The 22-year-old will join Arsenal on a six months loan deal without the option of joining them permanently.
Odegaard will hope to convince Mikel Arteta that he is good enough to play first football at the club as well as Zinedine Zidane who will be watching afar. l
