Barcelona News: Pochettino Contacts Messi, Marcos Alonso Wanted And Ronald Koeman Hopeful Of Winning A trophy

Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly contacted Lionel Messi to discuss over possibility of him joining at the end of the season.

Poch is fully convinced his country’s second greatest player after Diego Maradona will consider ditching an ineffective Barcelona and join him Qatar financed PSG.

Pochettino knows Messi heart desire is to win the Champions League trophy again and go tie with his major rival Cristiano Ronaldo on five. But, achieving that fate with Barcelona is almost impossible due to the club’s humongous debt profile which has impacted their signings.

But at PSG, Messi has everything to reach his goal and should consider this once in a life time opportunity.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are interested in signing Chelsea outcast Marcos Alonso. The club are hoping to bring in the 30-year-old to proved cover in the left back position.

But, if they fail to sign Alonso, the club will try to sign Valencia captain Jose Gaya who is five years younger than Alonso.

Mundo Deportivo further reports that Barcelona have reached out to Gini Wijnaldum who will leave Liverpool at the end of the season as a free agent.

The Dutch midfield maestro will not extend his contract with Liverpool who are offering him just $70,000-a-week despite his incredible workload and spirited display.

Wijnaldum will likely join Barcelona whose head coach Ronaldo Koeman has reached out to him or, he could join PSG or Juventus who are offering to double his current wages.
