Liverpool News: Mbappe To Leave PSG, Wijnaldum To Sign Contract And Klopp To Get A Defender

Georginio Wijnaldum will sign a contract extension with Liverpool who are still interested in keeping the 29-year-old Dutch international at the club.

According to Sky Sports, Liverpool are drafting a new contract that will take Wijnaldum’s earning from £70,000-a-week to £120,000-a-week. The contract will also contain add-ons on the number of games played, goals scored or assists as well as trophies won.

As it stands, Wijnaldum is the fittest and most reliable Liveprool player having played every Premier League match.

Liverpool will sign a defender on loan before the January transfer window. The club is trying as hard as possible to keep the name of the defender quiet in other to ensure the deal works accoridng ot plan.

The club’s sporting director Micheal Edwards is working assidously to bring in a defender knowign that Liveprool’s Premier League title bid will be over if they two or three more games.

PSG will likely sell Kylian Mbappe this summer if the attacker refuse to sign a contract extension. Mbappe is wanted by both Real Madrid and Liverpool who are aiming to strenghthen thier respective teams this summer.

Selling Mbappe will come as a result of his contract issues. The attacker has a year and six months left on his current contract and if he dosen’t sign a contract extension PSG could lose him for free next two seasons.
