Liverpool News: Ben Davies Agrees Deal, Mane To Be Fit For Brighton Clash And Sven Botman Still On Reds Rader

Liverpool have reached an agreement to sign Preston North East defender Ben Davies. The 25-year-old will undergo a medical on Monday before signing a four year contract with Reds.

Signing for a massive club like Liverpool could be daunting task for the English star. Davies could face similar problem like Paul Konchensky who left a small club like ‘Fulham’ to join a big club.

But with the presence of Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Oxlade Chamberlian, Curtis Jones, Alexander Arnold and others who are English, it will easy for him to adjust at the club.

The Reds could be signing another defender before the transfer window closes on Monday. Reports have emerged that Liverpool are interested in signing Lilles highly rated defender Sven Botman on a six month loan deal.

Botman is open to joining Liverpool and talks are reportedly ongoing behind close doors.

According to Liverpool Echo, Sadio Mane will be contention to start for Liverpool against Brighton. The Senegalese international have been given time to recover after complaining of a minor muscle injury after the Reds emphatic 3-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur.

Mane did miss Liverpool’s 3-1 win over West Ham but, he will be back for the Brighton clash.
