Schalke who have replaced the defender with former Arsenal defender Skhodran Mustafi did push Liverpool to sign a clause that mandate them to sign him permanently but, Liverpool just wanted a loan move with an option to sign him or not.
Kabak is the second defender to join Liverpool after Preston North East defender Ben Davies. Both men will now be schedule with the task of protecting Liverpool’s defense.
