Liverpool News: Mane Out For 2 Weeks, Van Dijk To Return In April And Aguero To Miss Reds Clash

Sadio Mane will miss Liverpool vs. Brighton clash after suffering a dead leg in Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur.

The Senegalese wasn’t selected for Liverpool’s 3-1 win over West Ham neither will he be in contention to start for Liverpool against Brighton on Wednesday.

Mane could also miss the penultimate clash between Liverpool vs. Manchester City. That clash will decide which of two heavyweights clinch the Premier League title at the end of the season.

As it stands, Mane is out for two weeks with a tight muscle, dead leg or whatever you want to call it.

According to Sky Sports, Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has confirmed that the club’s all time goal scorer Sergio Aguero will miss Liverpool clash at Anfield.

Aguero is yet to kick into gear this season having suffered from multiple injuries and the dreaded Covid-19. The attacker is currently in isolation and will soon be tested to know if his virus free.

Jurgen Klopp might have ruled out possibility of Virgil van Dijk returning this season but inside source has revealed that the Dutch captain could be back as early as April.

Van Dijk is working his way back to fitness and fans are optimistic of seeing him soon but not the manager, who wants to work with what he has now- Ben Davies and Ozak Kabak.
