Liverpool has reportedly been offered the rare opportunity to sign one of Europe’s outstanding marksmen in Diego Costa.
Costa is currently a free agent after reaching an agreement with Atletico Madrid to terminate his contract a few months ago.
Leaving Atletico Madrid means Costa can join any club of his choice including Liverpool who are fast losing the race to retain the Premier League title and now becoming too reliant on Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane for goals.
The 32-year-old striker is now offered to Liverpool who currently deliberately if signing him will help in adding more firepower to the team.
Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Sadio Mane will be back for the penultimate clash between Liverpool and Manchester City. Klopp is fully aware that his team chances of retaining the Premier League title is very slim having dropped valuable points against smaller teams like Brighton.
Now, Liverpool must beat Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday to stand a chance of retaining the League title.
Sadly, the Reds left back Andrew Roberso has ruled out Liverpool’s chances of retaining the Premier League title this season. The fullback feels the team’s structure and mentality isn’t working at the moment.
The back to back defeat at Anfield proves there’s something very wrong with Liverpool and its time the manager and his coaching staff find out what is wrong with the team.
Robertson does hope the decline is arrested but for him, winning the league title will be very hard.
