Real Madrid’s £100m Flop: Eden Hazard Is Fast Turning Into Kaka And Not Cristiano Ronaldo

7th June 2019 was the day Real Madrid announced to the entire world that they’ve just signed one of Europe’s exciting attacker for £100m which could raise to £146m when add-ons are meant.

Eden Hazard was a player who made people want to watch Chelsea due to his unbelievable trickery, ball control, frightening pace and ferocious shoot. He was just brilliant with the ball and people gasped for air whenever he is on transition to goal.

His unbelievable display with or without ball made him one of the top 10 players to ever played for Chelsea. Having achieved that fate, it was time to move to a bigger and better club in Real Madrid.

Madrid at that time was capable of winning the Champions League trophy having done it 3 times in a row under Zinedine Ziane.

All they needed to repeat the trick was a younger version of Cristiano Ronaldo who could bang in crucial goals. To Madrid’s president Florentino Perez, Hazard was the game changer to replace Cirsitnao Ronaldo but sadly, the player has failed everyone including himself.

He’s nothing like Cristiano but more alike like Kaka- an efficient player who was hardly in form due to injuries.

In just a year and a half, Hazard has suffered from 8 different injuries.

In fact, he has missed 43 games in a year and currently, he is out with a muscle injury which will rule him out for 4-6 weeks.

Disappointed with the recurring injuries Belgium national team Doctor Kristof Sas has lamented over the players persistent injury worries and now fears the players could be stuck in a vicious cycle of always getting injured.

If that is case Madrid could be dealing with another Kaka and not even Gareth Bale who at least played crucial parts in winning numerous trophies for Real Madrid.
