Real Madrid’s sensational captain Sergio Ramos will miss 6-10 weeks of actions after undergoing operation on his left knee.
The defender haven’t played football since Real Madrid were knocked out of the Spanish Super Cup by Atletico Bilboa back in January. Ramos was given time out to heal naturally but, fluid were reportedl building up in his knee.
To correct the problem, the defender must now undergo an operation to correct the tissue in the knee. Doing so will mean he will miss 6-10 weeks of action to heal properly.
According to Marca, Kylian Mbappe will likely accept an offer to join Real Madrid this summer. The attacker is yet to sign a contract extension with PSG having asked for time to think thoroughly about his career.
Staying at PSG will give him all the money and the domestic trophies he wants but, he won’t win the Champions League nor will he win the Ballon d’Or and FIFA World Best Player. He will just be another good goal scorer not world class.
Marca further reports that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez have no intention of sacking Zinedine Zidane this season. The president knows the team needs to be revamped by selling of dead woods and bringing in world class players.
Zidane is a specialist in winning Champions League trophies and Real Madrid pride themselves as the most successful team in that category. They need more European trophies next season and will back Zidane to win it again.
