Klopp Out: Liverpool Can’t Afford To Lose ‘Mane, Salah Or Wijnaldum’ Due To Klopp’s Lack Of Ambition

They say patience is a virtue but on Liverpool’s case, been patient is accepting mediocrity. Accepting that Jurgen Klopp can’t be fired because for the past three years {2018, 2019 and 2020} the Reds have succeded beyond expectations.

But, this current downhill was predictable. Klopp was warned about the impending danger of not replacing Dejan Lovren properly. They warned him that Liverpool’s backline is vulnerable knowing that Joel Matip managed just nine appearances last season while Joe Gomez was injured for almost 3 months.

Klopp’s only steady rock in the team was Virgil Van Dijk.

Relying on Van Dijk alone for the rest of the season won’t work, Liverpool desperately needed defensive reinforcements to maintain their standard and fight for more domestic trophies having lifted the Premier league title for the first time in 30 years

But did Jurgen Klopp listen, no! he felt he alone understands how to win games and others were just talking trash.

Stupidly, that boastfulness has come back to haunt him. Van Dijk is injured and will likely miss the rest of the season with a cruciate ligament damage.

Without Van DIjk protecting the back line and launching in exquisite long balls to Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah to attack and score, Liverpool attacking fluency have slowed down and teams now know how to defend and score against them.

The Reds have lost 3 consecutive home matches for the first time in 40 years and now sit 10 points adrift of Manchester City who smartly spent over $60m in signing a defender this summer- Rubian Dias.

Without doubt, Liverpool currently have the best team in the Premier League but, the current manager isn’t getting the best out of them. Jurgen Klopp has simply outlived his usefulness and is time he goes.

Sacking him won’t be bad at all. Everyone appreciates everything he has done for the club for the past five and half years but, its time he leaves so another manager comes in with a different approach to winning.

It will be a crime losing ‘Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Diojo Jota, Alisson Becker, Alexander Arnold, Gini Wijnaldum, Fabinho, Jordan Henderson and so many more superstars’ due to the club’s lack of ambition.

This Liverpool team should be winning every domestic and European trophies not chasing top 4 football.

Had Liverpool spent $80m on signing two top defenders they will still be up there fighting for every domestic trophies not hoping to finishing in the top 4 football’- Jamie Carragher.

No disrespect to Klopp and his coaching staff but this is the best they can do for Liverpool. There’s nothing else they can offer and its time each party go their separate ways.
