Chelsea have reportedly secured the service of Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng. The 32-year-old is currently not in the right frame of mind after his ex-girlfriend committed suicide.
Boateng will need time to deal with the shock but when he those return, he will be expected to help Bayern Munich win more domestic and European titles before switching to allegiance to Chelsea.
The club manager Thomas Tuchel has revealed during his press conference that Chelsea already have a top defender coming in so the talk of him finding replacements for Thiago Silva is not an issue.
According to Italian paper Calciomercatoweb, Chelsea are interested in signing Christian Ericksen for Jorinho.
Chelsea though will require an extra $24m to see the deal push through cause the value Jorginho ahead of Ericksen who value has plummeted having struggle for game time and form. Although, talks are still on going and nothing has been concluded.
Chelsea’s 89m midfielder Kai Havertz have been advised to watch clips of Frank Lampard. The 21-year-old posses the skill sets and eye for goal to score 30 to 20 goals a season but, he has to work on his mentality and decision making.
Havertz is still raw and needs time to fully acclimatize to the Premier League and demands of Chelsea.
