Liverpool News: Varane To Partner Van Dijk, Jota To Bench Firmino And Wijnaldum Receives Offers From PSG

Liverpool have reportedly contacted Raphael Varane to discuss over the possibility of signing him this summer.

According to the Express, Jurgen Klopp wants to partner the 27-year-old with Virgil van Dijk next summer and launch an audacious title bid.

Varane is a world class player and his achievement with France {World Cup} and Real Madrid {4 Champions League} makes him the ideal player most title chasing clubs will want.

Varane though have a year and 4 months left to run on his Real Madrid contract.

Liverpool star Gini Wijnaldum have received two offers from two of the biggest clubs in Europe. PSG and Inter Milan have both offered him lucrative contracts to join them when he leaves Liverpool at the end of the season.

Wijnaldum will become a free agent this summer after rejecting a new contract to remain at Anfield. The Dutch midfielder wants a substantially improved wage to keep donning the famous Red jersey. He wants his current £70,000-a-week wages to improve to £120,000 or £160,000-a-week cause, he will get it at other clubs.

Liverpool star Diojo Jota will be in contention to start against Sheffield United. The prolific goal scorer will be required to provide the needed goals Liverpool desperately needs to win games.

Jota will start against Sheffield United and Klopp will be hoping he scores Liverpool’s first goal from open play this year.
