Barcelona News: Bartomeu Arrested, Barca To Sell Griezmann And Arteta To Replace Koeman

Former Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu have been arrested by the police force of Catalonia better known as Mossos d’Esquadra.

The police were reportedly seen ransacking the club’s offices on Monday while arresting some notable personalities. The arrest had to be made after the court received documents proving that Barcelona’s former director along with his colleagues promoted a smear campaign against opposing voice.

Barca gate as it was popularly called not only disparaged dissenting voices but spied on them and created false headlines about them.

According to OkDiaro, Barcelona are open to selling Antoine Griezmann this summer. The French attacker has struggled at Camp Nou having been played out of position and in a wrong system.

Unlike in Atletico Madrid where he played behind the attacker, Griezmann is shuttled to the right and left wing of Barcelona.

Yes his fast, but he doesn’t posses the blistering pace, good crossing ability or dribbling skills to beat one or two players before cutting in and shooting to goal

Barcelona’s presidential hopeful Joan Laporta is reportedly planning to replace Ronald Koeman with Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta.

Laporta feels Mikel Arteta is better than Koeman despite his inability to get Arsenal into the top 4. Koeman though is on verge of pulling off the impossible.

He is close to winning the La Liga title with a very average Barcelona team that solely depends on Lionel Messi inspiration to win games.
