Liverpool News: Van Dijk To Face Arsenal, Mbappe To Join If Salah Leaves And Gerrard Don’t Want Klopp Sacked

Liverpool’s most reliable defender Virgil van Dijk will be in contention to start against Arsenal in the Premier League.

The Dutch captain has miraculously recovered from a season ending injury and has commenced light trianing. Next week, Van Dijk will be part of the first team training but won’t be in line to play against Wolves at Molineux.

But, he will certainly be ready to face Arsenal at Anfield where Liverpool have lost six consecutive games.

According to French paper L’Equipe, Kylian Mbappe will not be renewing his contract with PSG despite the millions be offered. Mbappe wants to move abroad and test himself in two of the strongest leagues in the world.

He wants to move to Liverpool but need the club to assure him first team football in a role he is customed to. That means, he wants to play as a right wing forward which is currently occupied by Mohamed Salah. If Liverpool are serious about signing a potential Ballon d’Or winner than Salah has to go or, moved to centre to accommodate Mbappe.

For the first time in four years, Liverpool fans are all criticizing Jurgen Klopp and want the eccentric manager to leave. The fans want the greatest player in the club’s history Steven Gerrard who recently lifted the Scottish League to replace Klopp.

Gerrard will certainly take the job if offered but, he still wants Liverpool to give Jurgen Klopp more time to prove he can win trophies without Van Dijk.
