Jurgen Klopp is interested in working with Borrusia Dortmund star Erling Haaland. The German tactician is impressed with Haaland’s phenomenal goalscoring attributes and feels he can add firepower to his underperforming team.
But with Liverpool set to miss next year Champions League football, it will very difficult for them to sway Haaland to join them knowing that Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid are all interested in him and ready to pay whatever it takes to sign the 20-year-old hit man.
Klopp though is a persuasive man and he will try all he can to bring the talented Norwegian to the club.
According to Marca, Barcelona have offered Liverpool the opportunity to take Philippe Coutinho back. The Blaugrana giants are open to selling Coutinho to Liverpool in a cut price deal or, allow him to leave on loan with option to buy him at the end of the season.
Klopp will certainly welcome the option of taking him on loan but frankly, its difficult to see where Coutinho will play in Liverpool’s tried and test 4-3-3 formation.
Liverpool is again linked to Juventus superstar Paolo Dybala who is currently deemed surplus to requirement. The 28-year-old has just a year to run on his contract which will force Juve to sell him off this summer.
Dybala scored 11 goals with 11 assists last season as Juventus won the Italian league. He was later named Seria A Player of the Season ahead of Cristinao Ronaldo.
