Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has admitted during his press conference that he is bemused with Eden Hazard’s injury recurrence. Zidane can no longer explain what is happening to Hazard and now feels its more of mental issue than a physical one.
Hazard has now suffered 10 different injuries since joining Real Madrid from Chelsea back in the 2019/20 season. Sadly, the highly rated attacker will no miss 4-6 weeks of action after suffering psoas muscle injury.
According to Marca, Karim Benzema has welcomed the challenge Erling Haaland is expected to bring to Real Madrid next season. Benzema knows he will be the man to be replaced owning to fact that Haaland is out and out striker not a winger not a second striker.
But despite the hype and money involved, Benzema is confident his ability and years of experiences will massively help him beat Haaland to first team opportunity.
And in Italy, Atlanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini is confident his team has what it takes to knock Real Madrid out of the Champions League.
Altanta might have lost the first leg to Real Madrid but, they still have another chance to turn things around. Gasperini knows it won’t be easy but with Casemiro set to miss the match, Madrid will be vulnerable in attack.
