Chelsea News: Abramovich To Pay For Haaland, Rudiger Rejects Contract And Tuchel Targets 2 Trophies

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is plotting an audacious bid to sign Borrusia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

Abramovich rates Haaland highly and feels the $100m rated striker can offer the firepower needed to beat Manchester City to domestic trophies and Bayern Munich to European trophies.

Although, Haaland is wanted by Manchester City, Manchester United, PSG and Juventus but Chelsea are hoping to snatch the 20-year-old Norwegian international off their grip.

According to Footballlondon. com, Antonio Rudiger will not be signing a contract extension with Chelsea.

The defender knows he is disposable and will likely be relegated to the back bench next season when Chelsea revamp the squad. Thomas Tuchel wants a world class defender to win the Premier League and Chelsea director Maria Gnavoskia will sign him one.

Petrified of signing a long term contract that will eventually complicate his departure, Rudiger has refrained from contract talks until the club can assure him of first team football now and in the future.

Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel is optimistic of winning two trophies this season while finishing in the top 4. Tuchel is confident of beating Manchester City to the FA Cup and Bayern Munich to the Champions League.

The German might have failed last season with PSG but, he has learnt his lesson and now made his corrections. He is confident of winning it this time with a Chelsea team brimming with youthful exuberance, experience and goals..
