Gini Wijnaldum will leave Liverpool at the end of the season when his contract expires. The 29-year-old said ‘no’ to a contract extension cause he felt the club were paying him less for his service.
Liverpool’s refusal to review his contract and offer him more money means the Dutch international will leave the club and join either Barcelona, Juventus, Inter Milan or PSG.
If he those leave, Liverpool have shortlisted three superstars who could replace him this summer.
The Reds are reportedly interested in signing Udinese captain Rodrigo De Paul. The talented midfielder posses the pace, versatility, energetic display and goals to replace Wijnaldum.
Liverpool could also sign West Ham star Declan Rice. The 25-year-old England international is a top midfielder who can provide cover in midfield and in defense. Although, he is not known for scoring 10 to 15 goals a season but, his overall display is exceptional.
The Reds could also sign Brighton and Albion star Yves Bissouma. The talented midfielder has the skillsets to adjust at Liverpool and further improve on his game.
Among the aforementioned two, Bissouma will cost less to sign. It will be easy for him to adjust due to the African contingence and the ball winning demand or pressing of Jurgen Klopp
