Ole Gunner Solskjaer is a club legend, a world class striker who knew when to step up and snatch the victory. Manchester United greats like Sir Alex Ferguson can testify to his incredible sportsmanship and dedication to win and improve.
With United as a player, Solskjaer won everything but as a manager, he is beginning to understand that not all world class players turn out to be world class manager.
Sadly, Manchester United will not win the Premier League title or any domestic trophy this season.. And its difficult seeing them winning the Europa League.
At best, United will finish in the top 4 and later in the summer spend millions again on rebuilding the team which frankly don’t make sense knowing the team is brimming with youth, experience and world class players.
This summer, Manchester United could relieve the Norwegian of his duties and employ the service of former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri. The Italian won 5 consecutive Seria A titles, four Italian Cups, two Italian Super cup as well as reaching two Champions League finals.
Or, Manchester United could employ the service of RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann. The 36-year-old is the reason why the Bundesliga title isn’t a straightforward win for Bayern Munich.
Leipzig push Bayern all the way to the final and that sometimes that can be irritating. Nagelsmann is a top manager and all he need to win is a club ready to spend the big buck on signing players which Manchester United is.
United can equally hire the service of former Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde. The 57-year-old will introduce a new and entertaining style of football and hopefully, it will help Manchester Untied win titles.
