Liverpool News: Salah Targets Champions League, Klopp To Sell 5 Players And Xavi Alonso Confirmed Manager

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is optimistic of winning the Champions League at the end of the season. At the moment, success in the European stage is the only solace Liverpool have after a disastrous showing in the Premier League and other domestic cup competitions.

Salah did admit Liverpool’s losing streak is troubling but, he is confident the team can turn a leaf turn and finishing in the top four while winning the Champions League.

Real Madrid will be tough to be beat but, Salah is ready to face Sergio Ramos Real Madrid.

According to the Sunday Times, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will sanction the sale of four of his first team players. The manager will allow Divock Origi, Oxlade Chamberlian, Xherdan Shaqiri, Takumi Minamino or Joel Matip leave the club.

Klopp will rebuild his team and by bringing in world class players while selling off dead woods.

The Sunday Times further reports that Liverpool legend Xabi Alonso will become Borrussia Monchengladbach next manager at the end of the season.

Alonso who currently manages Real Sociedad B team in the Spanish third division will fast track his rise to the top management by replacing Marco Rose in Monchengladbach hot seat.

Marcos Rose meanwhile will replace Borrusia Dormtund coach Lucian Favre at the end of the season. Its good news for Alonso who will now be hoping to make a name for himself as a top European manager.
