The congested fixtures are beginning to take a toll on Real Madrid who have confirmed they’ve suffered another serious injury to their full back.
Lucas Vasquez will miss the rest of the season after suffering a cruciate ligament sprain in his left knee against Barcelona. The attacker will now need six weeks to recover and will certainly be missing crucial clash at Anfield.
The versatile player will now join Sergio Ramos in the injury list. Ramos is scheduled to return in May and will miss the second leg at Anfield. Although, his absence hasn’t really affected the team,
Ramos partner in defense Rafael Varane will also miss the clash after testing positive for Covid-`9. In his absence, Nacho will partner with Eder Militao and hope they can contain Liverpool’s brilliant attacking trident.
Dani Cavaljal is back after two months in the sideline but Zinedine Zidane will not risk him against Liverpool.
Real Madrid also have issues with Fede Valverd and Toni Kroos who both suffering dead legs. Both players at least a week or two to rest and recover. Playing them against Liverpool is a big risk.
