Manchester City star Raheem Sterling could be heading to Real Madrid at the end of the season. The speedster is currently struggling for first team football due to the emergence of England’s poster boy Phil Foden.
Unlike Sterling who depend mostly on his electrifying pace and power, Foden’s skillsets, incredibly technique and creativity helps him to drift in and out of the wing while interchanging brilliantly with other midfielders.
Such attributes has forced Guardiola to bench Sterling and play Foden instead. But, Sterling posses the quality Real Madrid are currenlty looking for.
Zinedine Zidane wants Sterling to replace the injury prone Eden Hazard.
According to Sport, Real Madrid have reached an agreement to sign Bayern Munich defender David Alaba. The Austrian international will leave Munich at the end of the season after rejecting a contract extension with the club.
Alaba is still open to talking to other clubs but, the defender wants a club that can guarantee him first team football and trophies.
Real Madrid currently have 12 fit players to play their next La Liga match.
Zinedine Zidane with travel to Getefe with just 12 fit players to select from. The manager have called up academy players to fill up the spaces along with other fringe players.
Zidane knows how important it is winning trophy at Real Madrid. If he fails to win one trophy this season, he will likely be sacked.
