Barcelona have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Sergio Aguero and Gini Wijnaldum at the end of the season. Both players are wiling to put pen to paper but only if they can be assured that Lionel Messi will stay.
Ageuro made it clear to Barcelona that he will only join if Lionel Messi stays while Wijnaldum wanted to be assured that Barcelona’s long term plan included him in it. He doesn’t want to see and later be sidelined or, see Lionel Messi leaving along with some big hitters.
Barca have assured both men of their long term plan and will do all they can to keep Lionel Messi.

According to AS Sport, Barcelona president Joan Laporta is in full support of the European Super League and the money it will bring now and in the long term. Barcelona currently needs $1.2b to offset both the short and long term loans.
Laporta desire to remain in the European Super League is in sharp contrast to what the players want. The club captain Lionel Messi don’t want to be involved in a competition that fans around Europe view as ‘anti-football’. Messi has his image to protect.
