Barcelona News: Messi Want Martinez Not Aguero, Depay Offered 2 Years Contract And Koeman Won’t Be Sacked

Barcelona have reportedly offered Memphis Depay a two year contract to join the club. The attacker will leave Lyon at the end of the season after rejecting a contract extension.

Depay feels he has matured enough to take the next in his career and join a club capable of winning both domestic and European trophies. Barcelona want him and have offered him a two year contract which him and his agent are currently studying.

According to goal.com, Ronaldo Koeman is confident of remaining the manager of Barcelona football club come next season. He has delivered the Copa Del Rey title in his first season and still in contention of winning the La Liga title.

Sacking him won’t make sense, Koeman has done well and he knows it.

Goal.com further reports that Lionel Messi wants Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez at the club and not Sergio Aguero.

Yes he is friends with Sergio Aguero but Lionel Messi is a professional players who thinks first about improving the team to win games and titles before friendship.

He knows Aguero no longer posses the freighting determination to run at the defenders, evade their tackles before firing the ball beyond the outstretch hands of the keeper.

That vigour to attack incessantly is gone.

Lautaro Martinez on the other hand has it all. He is still young and hungry to win trophies. The 23-year-old still possess the explosive pace, the physical fitness, foam and confidence to attack over and over until he score.

Messi wants that sort of player at Barcelona not a washed out striker from Manchester City.
