Manchester City fans are pleading with their club to resign Kelechi Iheanacho who has developed a penchant for scoring goals. The Nigeria has scored 14 goals in 14 matches, and is on a run of vie goals in his last four matches.
Iheanacho scored a stunner against Crystal Palace on Monday to strengthen Leicester City’s hopes of finishing in the top 4 since their historic Premier League win back in 2016. City sold Kelechi to Leicester City back in 2017 for £23m and inserted a £50m back clause in case he develops into a world class player.
But sadly, the buy back clause has 3 year contract which expired back in June. Right now, if Manchester City want to resign Kelechi who is leading Leicester City to the Champions League in the absence of Jamie Verady, the club will have to pay over £70m to sign the Nigeria superstar.
