2 games, 2 wins, Chelsea now have the edge over Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City after dispersing them for the second consecutive game.
The Blues succeeded at Wembly int eh semi final of the Champions League and now the in Premier League, Chelsea have achieved a second consecutive win. To Thomas Tuchel this was a massive psychological boast to his team.
That perceived fear factor is all but gone. Chelsea players are not scared of City, they now believe they can be champions.
Sadly that is the reverse in Mancehter City’s camp.
Everyone is worried about the final including Pep Guardiola who watched as the club’s all time goal scorer and City’s longest serving player miss a glorious chance to win City the Premier League title.
Sergio Aguero’s penenka miss was terrifying to watch. It made Guardiola clutch his cheek bone in disbelieve. In all his years of management he has never seen such a poor decision making from a winning position.
Had Sergio Aguero taken the penalty kick properly, City would’ve been 2-0 up in the first half and by full time Premier League champions. But that miss changed history and made Aguero and City look average.
Finals are always tough to prepare for but in the end, only one club will be champions. the other will be forgotten. Hopefully, it will be Pep Guardiola and his incredible City that hoist aloft the prestigious trophy.
