Chelsea’s misfiring attacker Timo Werner has bruised aside the asserssaton that he is a reincarnation of Fernando Torres or Andriy Shevchenko.
The attacker believes his inability to score regularly especially in big matches is due to over demanding nature of the Premier League. The English league is completely different from the Bundesliga cause it involves a lot of speed, physicality and agility which he needs time to adjust to.
Time is a luxury at Chelsea and sadly, Timo Werner don’t have it. The German striker has to start goal scoring goals and fast or risk seeing Chelsea lose the top 4 to Liverpool and the Champions League to Manchester City after which Thomas Tuchel will be then sacked. And later in the summer, Chelsea will sign his replacement.
Frank Lampard to replace Roy Hodgson at Crystal Palace
Hodgson will be retiring permanently from football after 27-years in the game. The 73-year-old has decided to call it a quit to be with his family who have supported him for decades.
His departure will be certainly be felt by Crystal Palace who have a remained a stable Premier League under his stewardship.
Crystal Palace have now shortlisted managers to replace Hodgson and one of them is former Chelsea manager Frank Lampard who is heavy favourites.
Thomas Tuchel target Leicester City win
Chelsea are no longer taking Premier League matches for granted after Leicester City stunned them in the FA Cup final. The club don’t want to place all their hopes on winning the Champions League to qualify for the next season’s tournament.
They want to finish in the top 4 but to achieve that fate, they’ve to beat Liecester City.
Thomas Tuchel is confident of achieving that fate but also knows, Leicester City will be buoyant after their FA Cup win and will take the game to Chelsea.
