Barcelona president Joan Laporta is on a mission to secure long term loans to offset the club’s mountainous debt as well as resuscitate the club’s mediocre team.
He began that job by securing $500m loan from Golden Sachs with favourable conditions to clear off the club’s short loans.
Achieving that fate is success on its own but Laporta wants to sell lots of players this summer to raise funds for the club.
The president has reportedly told Barcelona’s legend Gerard Pique and Sergio Busquet that they will both be leaving. That message have been passed to the likes of Antoine Griezmann, Philippe Coutinho, Ousame Dembele, Samuel Umtiti, Martin Briathwaite, Miralem Pjanic, Neto and so many others.
In fact, olnly Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba, De Jong, Ter Stegan, Clement Lenglet and youngsters like Pedri will be staying the rest are on the market.
