Barcelona are reportedly closing in on signing three Dutch superstars this summer. The club president Joan Laporta will be revamping the squad this summer by selling off dead woods while replacing them with super talented players.
According to AS Sport, the Blaugrana gaints are closing in on signing Memphis Depay who is highly regarded by the current club manager Ronald Koeman.
Depay do like Barcelona and the prospect of lining up alongside Lionel Messi but he wants to be assured of Ronald Koeman’s future before taking the final leap.
With Koeman, he will surely play lots of football at Barcelona but without him, he will relegated again to the bench which he detest.
Barcelona are also closing in on signing Gini Wijnaldum. The Liverpool ace has reached verbal agreement with the club but is yet to sign the 3 year contract offered to him.
Just like Depay, he wants to be assured of Ronald Koeman’s future before signing.
The club are also working tirelessly to sign Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt. The 22-year-old still posses the qualities to become the best defender in the world but at his current state, he is just one good defender.
Aware of the possibility of stagnating, the Dutch defender is now open to moving out of the club this summer.
Barcelona are in talks with his representatives and a breakthrough is believed to have been reached by both parties.
