Real Madrid’s most successful captain Sergio Ramos will not be extending his contract with the club. The 35-year-old will leave as a free agent and join any club in Europe that can offer him a better contract.
Ramos exit will be massive for Real Madrid knowing how important he has been for the club since he joined from Sevilla back in 2004. The Spanish defender is a tough, strong, resilient, intelligent and above all, a fantastic leader to have.
His exit will be felt by the fans but the club have already found a long term solution in David Alaba alongside Eder Militao and Raphael Varane.
Sergio Ramos meanwhile is wanted by some of the best clubs in Europe. Manchester City and PSG have both offered him a two year contract while Arsenal and Tottenham are both speaking endless with his agent.
