For the second season running, Borrusia Dortmund has rejected Manchester United’s astronomical offer to sign Jadon Sancho.
BVB rejected United’s £67m offer cause they feel Sancho cost way more than that. The club’s sporting director Michael Zorc will only sanction a sell if Manchester United pay £80m and not the £67m they’re currently offering.
Sancho is an incredibly gifted player who will add dynamism, flair, creativity and goals to United’s attacking lines but, the current asking price for the attacker simply don’t make sense.
Signing him for £80m will be questionable knowing that the 22-year-old is not in range of that price tag. But Dortmund are willing to get the best possible deal out of Sancho while ensuring United pay before July 23 or no deal.
Dortmund are fully aware of the financial impact of Covid-19 and are willing to accept United paying up in installments for the next four years not five.
