After 16 years of unprecedented success with Real Madrid, Sergio Ramos will be leaving the Santiago Bernebue after refusing to accept the club’s current wage structure.
Ramos will call a press conference on Thursday, June 17th at 12:30pm to announce his departure. The club’s most successful captain will be leaving Real Madrid as a free agent.
His departure will certainly be felt by the club’s faithful who have watched him bully attackers, scored unbelievable goals and hoisted aloft 23 trophies.
Ramos might be 35-years-old but he still has two or three years in him to play top level football and any club decides in signing him will certainly be bringing a world class defender..
