Why Toni Kroos is confident of doing what Ronaldo, Ramos, Casillas and even Raul failed to do at Real Madrid

Toni Kroos has dismissed the notion that Real Madrid he will discarded him as soon as he begins to show signs of weakness. The 31-year-old is convinced he remain at peak condition and keep delivering for Real Madrid when called upon.

The midfielder was to remain blind to the inevitale fate that awaits all Real Madrid’s past and present superstars. Real Madrid is not a retirement home for anyone.

Real Madrid under Florentino Perez don’t give room for superstars to retire. Players who have given their best years to the club are either sold, forced to leave or simply not offered contracts.

Raul Gonzalez, Iker Casillas, Cristiano Ronaldo and even the club’s most successful captain Sergio Ramos wasn’t even offered the chance to retire.

Toni Kroos meanwhile thinks he can pull that off.

“I believe that the year 2023 is appropriate, i will be 33”, Kroos told Bild when asked about his retirement plans.

“I will decide whether i will renew {at Real Madrid} for a season or two, that is still open for discussion, but i am absolutely certain that i will retire at Real Madrid’.

His statement might sound strange knowing how Real Madrid scout endlessly for superstars but, Kroos is ready to give his best when called upon to play; settle for the bench if Real Madrid bring in younger, fitter and much better than him and accept one or two years contract without delaying like Sergio Ramos.
