Barcelona is currently unable to register new players or resign Lionel Messi until they have cleared €187 million from their current wage bill.
Barcelona may be unable to sell established players such as Philippe Coutinho or Miralem Pjanic, but they do have players such as Pedri, Ansu Fati, and lllaix Moriba to sell in order to clear some of their debts and resign Lionel Messi.
Pedri alone is worth €130m to Barcelona this summer after demonstrating his potential as a world-class player. The 19-year-old shares many of Andres Iniesta’s attributes, and there’s little doubt he’ll go on to be one of the best midfielders in the world.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are apparently willing to pay €80m for lllaix Moriba’s services while Ansu Fati is wanted by Manchester United, Chelsea, and PSG who are willing to pay millions for him.
