He scored in a must-win group game against Russia and then a stunning free kick in the semi-final defeat to England (2-1).
Madrid could also sign Alessandro Bastoni who conquered Europe with Italy. The 22-year-old defender is a world-class defender, and his performances for Inter Milan and Italy were outstanding. He has the qualities to play first-team football for Real Madrid without a doubt.
Another player Real Madrid could sign is Germany and Borrusia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus. The 23-year-old has the speed, technical abilities, energy, and inventiveness to succeed Luka Modric or Toni Kroos.
Real Madrid could also sign PSV striker Donyell Malen. The 21-year-old has the potential to be a long-term replacement for Karim Benzema. He is quick, athletic, bright, and adept at capitalizing on opportunities.
Jeremy Doku could also join Real Madrid this summer but, the attacker needs to gain experiences somehow else before taking the leap.
