Chelsea are interested in signing Borrusia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, who is valued at £150 million. Chelsea is willing to pay Dortmund’s asking price, but they will have to sell players in order to comply with financial fair rules and maintain a manageable wage structure.
Tammy Abraham, who battled with form and consistency under Thomas Tuchel, is set to be sold. The 23-year-old only appeared in two games under Tuchel last season before being replaced by Timo Werner.
Chelsea are also considering selling Callum Hudson-Odoi. Tuchel, who felt he lacked the discipline and intellect to be a first-team player, limited the gifted winger to just seven appearances.
Hakim Ziyech, a Moroccan winger who played a key role in Chelsea’s FA Cup and Champions League triumphs, is expected to leave the club. Last season, Ziyech made 39 appearances, demonstrating that he is still a crucial player for the club.
Ross Barkley is more likely to be sold not Ziyech.
