Liverpool star Xherdan Shaqiri could be heading to Lazio after a bid of around £12m was submitted for the Switzerland international.
Shaqiri, 29, is open to leaving Anfield for greener pasture having spent most of his years at Anfield playing peripheral roles under Jurgen Klopp.
Sadly, the attacking midfielder has never been considered a first team player at Liverpool neither has he managed to hold down a starting berth under Jurgen Klopp for a long or short period.
At most, he is used sparingly to afford rest time or cover up for the first team players which he always complained about. Klopp likes him as a player but never considered him a very important part of his plan.
Shaqiri wants to enjoy his football while developing as a player by joining Maurizio Sarri Lazio. Liverpool meanwhile want him to stay to make up the numbers which Shaqiri detest.
One way on the other, Shaqiri’s future will be sorted soon and a bid of 15m will just be enough to get the 29-year-old out of Anfield.
