Chelsea news: 5 strikers Chelsea will likely sign as Olivier Giroud’s replacement

Chelsea have reportedly opened talks with five of Europe’s outstanding attackerss. The club is hoping to bring a striker who can lead their attacking lines next season as they aim to win the Premier League title along with domestic and European trophies.

Timo Werner was suppose to be that man but, Thomas Tuchel has seen enough of his lackluster performance in front of goal and feels its time to make a chance

The Blues have reportedly contacted Robert Lewandowski agent ‘Pini Zhavi’ to discuss the possibility of signing him before the season commences. Chelsea are willing to offer £50m for the 32-year-old record breaking striker who has just two years left to run on his Bayern Munich contract.

Signing Lewandowski will instantly guarantee Chelsea the Premier League title but, Bayern Munich are no mood to lose arguably their best player now or in future.

Chelsea are also interested in signing Borrusia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland but it seems that deal won’t go through due to the cost involved in signing him {£150m} along with Dortmund stances on keeping him after losing Jadon Sancho.

Another striker Chelsea will likely sign is Stuttgart hit man Sasa Kalajdzic. The Austrian international netted 17 goals in 36 games in all competition last season and showed promises of becoming a great striker.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are also interested in signing Danny ings who has turned down a four year deal with Southampton due to his desire to play elite football and win some meaningful trophies before retirement.

According to AS Sport, Chelsea are very interested in signing Italy and Sassuolo forward Domenico Berardi. The 26-year-old is able and capable of leading Chelsea’s attacking lines but, he will need time to adjust to the fast and furious Premier League.
