From Messi to Depay! How Barcelona crash landed into the desert sinking sand

Its inconceivable watching the best the player in the world walk out of La Liga and Barcelona. Lionel Messi decision to quit the Bluagrana giants tells you everything you need to know about Barcelona and how broken they’re at the moment.

Barcelona no longer have the funds to keep Lionel Messi at the club neither do have the resources required to build a successful team around him.

This is really sad knowing that from 2006-2016, Barcelona had arguably the best team in the world and their success around Europe and La Liga was unmatched. The club won 3 Champions league trophies along with 24 other trophies.

With Messi, Xavi Hernandez, Andres Iniesta, Pedro Rodriquez, Dani Alves, Neymar, David Silva, Thierry Henry, Carles Puyol, Samuel Etoo’, Luis Suarez, David Villa and so many other superstars, Barcelona were a force to reckon with and even Real Madrid with Cristiano Ronaldo shivered when facing them.

But today, Barcelona will be lead by two Manchester rejects in Memphis Depay and Sergio Aguero. Embarrasing!

No doubt, Barcelona’s massive decline can be traced back to the former president Mario Bartomeu who spent heavily on signing players who don’t suit club’s playing style while giving them ludicrous contracts.

The likes of Philippe Coutinho, Ousame Dembele, Antoine Griezmann and Miralem Pjanic aren’t good enough for Barcelona and yet, they still insist on remaining knowing no club in Europe will pay them their current wages.

This added burden on Barcelona’s finance means the club can’t pay Messi what his due.

Added to that, Barcelona is forced to accept La Liga’s equal money TV Rights which ultimately ends their involvement in the dead and buried European Super League or, let Messi leave and keep pushing for the European league.

Choosing the later, completely ends the era of the best player in the world and Barcelona. Messi who clearly have 2 or 3 years of top level football in him will be moving to PSG to link up with a former Barcelona great in Neymar.

No disrespect to Barcelona, but the club’s crazy decision over the years have crash the club into the desert sand and its now sinking.
