Liverpool have won their second match in a row after beating Burnley 2-0 at Anfield. The Reds are determined to re-establish their dominance at home after losing their 68 match unbeaten run to the Clarets.

And win they did as Konstantinos Tsimikas’s ran down the full length of the pitch before delivering a fine cross that found Diojo Jota who connected brilliantly to put the Reds in front.
Jota’s opener for Liverpool was his first Premier League goal at Anfield since November 2020 versus Leicester; indeed, each of his previous six goals in the competition had come away from home.
In the second half, Trent Alexander Arnold Repeated similar trick by drilling in through ball to Sadio Mane who raced pass the defense before slotting in the ball.
Alexander-Arnold has provided nine assists for Sadio Mane in the Premier League, four more than he has for any other Liverpool player.
