Leave Klopp alone! Why Liverpool must avoid signing more players

Its a well known fact that the English media is always hyperactive when it comes to issues involving transfers. They desperately find stories linking one player to one club or another and if none is available, they simply invite one.

Who is leaving or coming in is a hot topic in Premier League especially when it involves the top teams.

To the English media, a club must sign at least two or three players during the summer transfer window and if they refuse to do so, it shows their lack of ambition to win trophies.

Well that notion is about to be ended by Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool.

The Reds signed just one player this summer owning to how they ended last season. A defender was badly needed and the Reds quickly signed Ibrahima Konate for $36m to add depths in defence. His arrival makes sense and everyone agrees with that deal.

But with Gini Wijnaldum gone and Liverpool showing no sign of bringing in a replacement, the English media are becoming restless and asking lots of questions about Liverpool’s title credentials. Such questions have trickled down to the fans who all worried about the club’s direction under Jurgen Klopp.

Sadly, no one wants to see the faces of those already at the club fighting hard to claim a first team spot and win lots trophies. What everyone wants to see is a big name signing even though their not needed.

Without doubt, Liverpool have everything they need to mount a serious title challenge and with Van Dijk and Joel Matip- who has finally regained his form and fitness, the Reds will certianly win it.

Klopp’s has in his disposal a world class defense spearheaded by Van Dijk. A very good midfield marshaled by Jordan Henderson along with a very potent attack lead by Mohamed Salah.

If al this present, why then should Liverpool sign more players?
