Manchester City have won their first match of the season with an emphatic 5-0 win over Norwich City. From the on-set of the match it had only just one winner which was City.
Pep Guardiola men’s were in cruise control from the first whistle as they kept of the ball and forced Norwich to sit deep and fight hard to reduce the score line.
But in the 7th minute, City scored thanks to the mesmerizing runs of Gabriel Jesus who smashed a low volley across the face of goal that Hanley accidently deflected into Krul’s net.
One nil was the score line and Daniel Farke instantly knew his team is in big trouble. Minutes later, City’s £100m attacker Jack Grealish made 2-0 to put the game into panic mode.
In the second half, Aymeric Laporte made it 3-0 before Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez made it 4 and 5 nil repsecitively.
The win will certainly be a massive confidence boast to City while Norwich will hoping to get a favourable result against Bourthmouth in the Caraboa Cup before facing Leicester City in the Premier League.
