Greek superstar Kostas Tsimikas is fast growing into a world class left back and his abilities are beginning to supersede the Reds recognized left back in Andrew Robertson.
Tsimikas has taken his chances beautifully and forced Klopp to reconsider introducing Robertson to the first team knowing that the 23-year-old offers more to the squad that Robertson.
He offers Liverpool the physicality to deal with robust attackers who depend more on their strength and pace rather their brains. He also offers the team the aerial prowess to deal with set pieces even in the absence of Van Dijk which frankly a massive uplift on the defense.
Although, Jurgen Klopp played down the talk of permanently replace Robertson with the Greek but deep down, Klopp knows that with a sustained amount of games, Tsimikas will be an unstoppable force of nature.
He is fast, strong, good on the air and his deliveries into the box are world class so why keep such a player on the bench when he can offer more to the team?
