Chelsea have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Sevilla defender Jules Kounde for £42.7m. The 23-year-old has already reached personal agreement with the Chelsea and he is ready to board a plane to Chelsea.
But before a deal is done, the Blues must sell a defender ‘Kurt Zouma’ to make way for the hugely talented Frenchman. West Ham have offered £30m for Kurt Zouma which was accepted.
Although, his transfer is attempting to hit a stumbling due to his £100,000-a-week wage request and third party representatives.
Chelsea though are working hard to ensure he leaves while Jules Kounde replaces him.
The club are also working assiduously to bring Saul Niguez on loan for the season and later sign him if he proves he is capable of fitting in.
Just like Mateo Kovacic who left Real Madrid on loan to join Chelsea, the Blues are hoping Saul replicate the Croatian and prove he is made for the club.
