Guardiola views: How to stop PSG trio Messi, Neymar and Mbappe

On paper, PSG have arguably the strongest team in Europe and by far the best ever team in Ligue 1 history. They currently strolling to the Ligue 1 title and by extension the various league cups.

But domestic triumps means nothing, PSG will be judged by how they fair in Europe. Everyone expects them to win the Champions League trophy having recruited 5 of the greatest player’s of all time.

Individually, PSG have the best player’s in all position but collectively, they lack the synergy to operate as a unit.

No doubt, the old guys are still playing fantastically well and winning consecutive league games but the new boys have to adapt very fast to the team’s style and pattern of play.

Adaptation is definitely required in attack.

Neymar has to learn to pass more to Kylian Mbappe while Messi must quickly build an understanding with both men.

For now, PSG’s front three lack the telepathic understanding required to beat Manchester City at the Parc des Prince or even go as far as winning the Champions League trophy.
